The way Nemu kept having doubts about Ruka was getting me down but then I thought that he has to have more faith in Maya’s feelings for him. Ruka will definitely go for Maya but it won’t matter because Maya is in love with Nemu. Ruka thinks he’s sure about the way love works but it looks a lot like cockiness to me. He hasn’t even considered Maya’s feelings for Nemu and vice versa. He only chalks it up to something short-lived and worthless. I’m honestly glad Nemu took the risk and hugged Maya. This latest chapter only reaffirms their feelings for each other in the sweetest way.
I’m so glad bc I’ve been waiting on this ship for sooo long. They’re beautiful together!!! And 10/10 for seeing Yuri’s face (especially the crying) again.
Looks like Worick “violated the taboo” and I guess that nullifies the contract he has with Nic hence why he’s being called “stray” now. Alex (they’re hurting my wife) is gonna be dragged in since she’s been with the guys for so long. The “bad guys” like the Corsicans, I don’t have much of an idea what they’re doing and what Worick is doing with them but I’d love some background on it. Before, Worick did mention walking on the other side in the manga and the anime so I’m sure that’s what he’s doing. I can’t say for sure if it’s for the benefit of his friends or to fulfill some kind of “I was always meant to do this” fate. By the looks of the last chapter’s update Nic and Alex are going to join the guild and hopefully so because war is coming to Ergastulum (Worick did say he wants wholesale slaughter”). There’s literally no other major power in Ergastulum that can protect Nic (I love him so much) and Alex. Worick will be gone for awhile but he’s smart so he’ll survive.
