I know it’s not W’s responsibility but if meds don’t work on H during his rut it’s likely he’s in for a lot of pain and possibly dubcon with someone else right? W keeps saying H can’t let go of them being family but he’s clearly the one who can’t so it’d be nice if he ended up regretting leaving.
Is the longer version worth reading? I loved the short version and honestly the first chpt of the remake(?) left me concerned…
It depends because the art style changed to more of a manhaw and the plot changed a lot compared to the short version

Originally Viper was part of the Bomtoon Gangster Champaign anthology and only 5 chpts long. Then the author redid it as a series making it 50 chpts long! That’s what pple are referring to as the longer version. Check out both chpt 1s and you’ll see they’re diff versions.
The short version has a way more impactful story still, especially with the art style. But the longer version does have some nice scenes (smut is the bonus) and I still like the characters (the bottom's personality) - but compared to the short version it will feel mediocre! I enjoyed it more once I put away thoughts of comparison

I used to really like this but between the chpts being split and bob stretching the story out I just want it to end already.
There’s no chance of her choosing the crown prince. The duke’s giving strong 2nd ml vibes and she’s definitely softening towards him, but probably not enough for them to end up together. Pink hairs not a real love interest.
It’s pretty clear when she’s yelling at pink hair about not being forgiven she’s really only talking about Roger, despite everything she treats him differently. Probably because of how they started.
Just let him go girl. Let him go.
