I don't know how to explain it but basically Duke elgy is on Heinley's side. He is feeding Rashta ideas to help Heinley. The ideas fed to Rashta will ultimately result to her "winning" Sovieshit. If she "wins over" Sovieshu, the empress would look for someone (Heinley) to marry her in order for her to survive.

In the latest chapters, (still far from the end) •Navier ends up marrying Sovieshu.
•Sovieshu fabricated Rashta's background to make her look like the lost daughter of some fallen empire or something.
•The duke is still feeding ideas to Rashta,,, i think will lead her to her downfall.

Basically, there's a lot of manipulation going on. Rashta is not that sharp (but not dumb) so when she starts doubting Duke elgy, just a few words of consolation or something would erase her suspicion.

All i know for now is that, Heinley is a sweetheart and really does love and respect Navier. And it seems like Sovieshu "loves" Navier and is just using Rashta to get an Heir because he thinks Navier can't have a child. Rashta knows this so she plans that after giving birth to the first child, she would get pregnant again

I've skipped some parts here but thats the gist. The story is still on going and far from the end so let's just wait and see.

Ps. I know Sovieshu is doing this to have an heir but he is so self-centered and insensitive. Idk i guess Rashta is doing this to survive and all but she doesn't have to go as far as ruining Navier :( being a concubine is enough to protect her. Eh at least Navier is set free from that shit of a husband. BUT I STILL REALLY HATE THEM. im sorry...

I almost got a heartattack as i read it far into their wedding, politics, and further preparations for war and magic realted stuff XD but didn't read the last chapters and saw trashoes recent webnovel art in Instagram Σ(っ°Д °;)っ glad they're still married trashta makes a perfect empress for that joke of an emperor.

Wait till the Emperor goes coocoo...and the assination attempts and magic powers ... stuff really takes off. When Emperor was like, "Leave Henry and I'll be the babies daddy..." I wanted to slap him.

The reason navier cant have the baby is bec of soveishu bec when they were younger they used to get trained and starved so one day soveishu saw some cookies and took them and ate them with navier but when he comes back his mother is furious that who ate them bec they were cookies that were to be given to his fathers another wife for infertilitu .she asks soveishu if he ate the cookies and soveishu lies and says he was the only one who ate it bec if his mother knew their engagement would break

Yeaj Soviets mom planned to poison Soviets father's concubine so the concubine would have an abortion and infertile. He and Navie ate them and that is why they could not have kids. It was only to the magic gems that King Henry had on their wedding bed, were they able to have children. And thanks to the magic of the gems, they refused the empress with magic. Now on the other side, when rash became empress, she went nuts. She even tried an assassination attempt on Navier... and when she saw that her baby did not look like the Emperor Soviets, she panicked. Sje goes nuts. Her only friend is Duke Ergi who keeps giving her advice that just... goes side ways. Like the kind of advice that seems like things are working out but has terrible consequences. Anyway, things happen and yeah, she ends up in a lot of hot water. She does get locked up in the tower and commit suicide. After that, she becomes a ghost and she is now haunting the palace. The emperor goes crazy and starts drinking too much. Basically he becomes an alcoholic. He sees the empress at the window and he chases after the empress and falls and cracks his head. He ends up forgetting about 5 years or so. He just remembers just marrying the empress when he really was in love with her. When he finds out everything that happened, he can't believe that his happy marriage had crumbled like that. He doesn't even remember rashta at all. He hates her actually because he thinks that she must have Bewitched him or something for him to turn against the one woman he truly loves. He goes after the empress and begs for her to come back and that he promises to love her and her babies forever. He swears he does not remember what had happened and that he does not see himself ever doing that to her again. It's actually pretty sad on his part because he really can't remember being the bad guy. King Henry is a sweetheart and is very understanding but he is ruthless and so now things are really tense. You've got the Western Kingdom and the Eastern Kingdom with a lot of pension. So the empress is caught in the middle. Also she has magic. So much stuff is going on. And I'm not even talking about what had happened to the little sorceress she helped. The emperor finally gives up or so she has to accept that she's not coming back and he's looking for a new wife but he just can't make him so full move with anyone else but her. And then of course there's the ghost of rasta annoying the s*** out of him. She is not leaving him alone

Actually it works on both. So both Soviet and Navier became infertile.
