I've always thought that they stopped making the anime because it's not being faithful to the manga. Cutting scenes from the manga and putting scenes that weren't in the original work, just wouldn't do it. And I'm not even pertaining to the fillers.

yeah and making Ichigo look dumber than he is and Ishida less of a goofball than he is. The manga has funnier parts that were lacking in the anime and the fillers not so cool, like the bounts. I wish it was closer to the manga.
Maybe when the manga is finished somebody (maybe a different studio) could picked it up and reanimate the series. But before that I hope the manga ends in a good way: both artistically and story-wise.

This was intense. Kan Chan had it hard... But I still didn't like the fact that he hit yumi.
