It makes sense why she's wary of him tho? Because he killed her in the original storyline. If he's dangerous, why wouldn't she want to run away?
Even from a 3rd person perspective I don't actually know if he has bad intentions towards her or not either, if I were her, I'd also be wary?

Why would he fake any of it when he doesn't have to be nice to her though? She is a destitute nobody. He didn't have to marry her. He could have have kept her imprisoned in the manor somewhere. He could have sent her siblings off to a boarding school or an orphanage. He could treat her like complete garbage and nobody would do anything or think the slightest thing about it.
He wants to trap her by seducing her. Hes faking it.
My dear, please think more critically... Through histories of anecdotal experience, it's obvious that it's far easier, and smarter to keep people by your side by being nice rather than being cruel. He needs her to be by his side willingly.
What do you think would happen if he treats her poorly? She would have to rebel, or worst, take her own life. That's not beneficial to either of them. Either way I don't know the ending of this story or his intentions, but he SUSPICIOUS as heck is what I'm saying, and the FL has every right to feel suspicious too.
Not hitting, disrespecting, kidnapping or being otherwise abusive to other people is the bare minimum of being a decent human being. He is not a good spouse because he didn’t resort to those means. Also, considering from her knowledge he does end up murdering her in another life, it would be stupid for her to let her guard down and not have an escape plan.

I was grateful for this chapter because I was ready to drop it if the fighting continued. I find Wendy to be extremely unlikable. She's only become redeemable since Aiden entered the picture. Not saying it was alright for him to tie them together irrevocably without her permission, but let's be real. She was an unpleasant, unsociable, and all around disagreeable and unfriendly person that refused to allow anyone but her teacher into her life. (The teacher who only knew about her and took her on due to Aiden's request to keep her safe) She's only become a better supervisor, friend, and considerate person since her relationship with Aiden . Her Team and her personal life have only gotten better. All relationships have struggles, which is why trust and communication is so important. I am thrilled to see them working it out instead of pushing away from and punishing each other

She's definitely failed as a wife and mother, but Harsen apparently isn't ready for the kind of self reflection it takes to admit that he's failed as a husband and father. I really want to like Harsen. The choices in his life were just as limited and circumstantial as hers. He was also just a kid forced into marriage, forced to play politics, forced into war but damn man. He's not a kid anymore
he didn't though, he married her because he loved her. that's why he's mad. those were only rumors a bunch of people spread and she believed them without ever asking why he knew her name or why he knew her birthday. that's what the last panel indicated - that his parents were made he was throwing away *his* best choice because he loved her.
From my point of view, Harsen loves her that why he did not marry the princess. and when he discovers that she marries him because he was the best choice how can we know the impact he receives

is it only me that can see that ml is cold? if you don't know I can't help you and is that coldness that makes it for the fl difficult to communicate but I repeated is not IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE HIS TALK HE USUAL RESPONSE IN HIS WAY but he care very much for the fl he did everything but he can't give him that love and care that himself didn't receive.
