So the prince was drugged and manipulated just like Tia was, only she was a different kind of political target. Once Tia and her father were out of the way, drugs and alcohol ensured Ruve was never fully sane. The other faction had complete control. I don't believe for one minute that Jieun didn't know. She was in on it, is still in on it

no i think jieun truly didn’t know. jieun mentioned that after she married the prince he started changing after some time and yearned for tia. so it might’ve been the affects of the drug were slowly wearing off

I agree. Jieun and Aristia both are actually doing the same thing, they're acting on the previous Ruve's behavior. Both refuse to love him because of how bad he was, but I think there was a point where it was mentioned Jieun didn't actually love him (or at least not) and the poisoning just made sure she never would love him.

I just don't think Jieun would be THIS scorned if she knew Ruve's behavior was because of a mind altering substance that HER side used. The old dude would manipulate and use Jieun easily, but I doubt he ever was open about his methods.

Not that I LIKE the Jieun so far. But I think she was just so desperate to survive in a new world where everyone was pushing her into such a complicated role, she allowed herself to remain ignorant and ended up getting played. I'm sure she'll realize everything eventually and be like Frenemies with Aristia, assuming she never returns to her world.

Jieun knew she was part of it with the nobles . Because of her that tia died because ruve wanted to stop but she blocked him .

I'm glad it wasn't drug out with long convoluted misunderstandings. Just a sweet and simple story with the two of learning confidence in themselves and each other

Obviously she knew he didn't get along with his family, but she didn't know they were trying to kill him. That's why her view of events was of him being mean to her when he was actually taking steps to ensure neither of them were hurt/hurt further (poisoned tea, abrupt requests to leave, letters telling her to stay away)

Also if she visited him even more, she would be wed to his brother. Just to torture ml.

But this chapter sucked. It was weird and had a terrible flow. It's like it was written by a completely different person

Skag-ass ho's like her are a huge part of why Regan is so messed up. I have no doubt his ex-wives were just like her, scheming and using him. (His sister isn't any better). I am so happy to see Ingrid standing up for him. He's trying to be a good husband. Their communication these last few chapters is showing a real development in their relationship

He didn't deserve the disdain Karl dished out. I'd much rather Estelle be interested in him or the music composer but alas, it looks like Emel is still going to be in the picture...side note, the Duke and Karl deserve their own follow up stories. They are definitely the most intriguing characters in the story

While it's all about pleasing their partners and exploring what satisfies each other, it's obviously a lot to keep the jealous tendencies of human nature in check. The more outrageous exploring they do, the harder it will be to keep their desires inclusive and possessive inclinations neutral

I understand she was not an affectionate mother or wife, but it takes 2 to tango. He shouldn't be standing there condemning her when he wasn't any better. He's still making choices without consideration of everyone else involved. I mean, right now the only person paying for any of it is Vincent.

Ya I was thinking the same thing. Although I’m not sure if the dad was a good father for the kid during Vincent’s childhood... but if he wasn’t, he doesn’t have the right to say that to her. Idk. I’m not saying that I don’t like the father but isn’t he acting kind of hypocritical rn? Im sure the dad is a great guy but like wtf. Or the dad may just have a hard time showing affection to his family but like why are you lettin your poor kid marry a fuckin bitch...

Lmao. Or I may have misunderstood everything about him...

But then her Knight just threw skin in the game and got me like "Hell yeah you need a harem girl!"

The Gardener and the Chef would definitely be my choice. That was flippin hot
