I agree, this is a really complicated question but yes, I believe Mafuyu will come to love Uenoyama just as much as he loved Yuki one day. This is no competition whatsoever. I believe that if you choose to love a person, you will come to cherish them in your own special ways, so we can’t really compare the relationship shared b/t Mafuyu&Yuki to Mafuyu&Ueno. Just like Mafuyu will never love someone as much as he loved Yuki, Mafuyu will never love someone as much as he loved Uenoyama; there’s no doubt that he has come to love them both very much. The only difference is that their (Mafuyu&Ueno) story hasn’t ended just yet.
That is a very complicated question but I guess according to my perception of the relationship mafuyu will never love anyone like he loved yuki I mean yuki was a sort of anchor for him and helped him deal with his childhood traumas but I feel like he definitely loves Ue just differently from his love for yuki. Although recently they seem to be having the same problems so hopefully they have what they lacked before which is COMMUNICATION!!
