the scar’s lore is outrageous i never everrrr want to see men irl experience joy and rest as an apology to nanase. the dialogue alone was pulverizing.

he initially got the scar from a bird but it was bc of the prince
then the scar started to fade and with it their relationship/ bond started to waver
one night nanase wasnt performing his duties which led to him getting reprimanded by reo, this marked the lowest point of their relationship and with the tension that has been growing between them, reo tries to threaten nanase by asking if he should give him another scar and nanase really wishes for it to happen so that he has something to symbolise their relationship and to maybe make things go back to the way they were but he never gave him the scar and in fact their relationship ended officially after that night
and in his new life, nanase was born with the scar to symbolise his lost love and the thing he couldn't keep in his past life, it was a reminder of reo and of how he tried to stay by his side but ultimately failed
and in the end, when their life's purpose/ their old promise of staying together is fulfilled, the scar is no longer needed, why would you need something to remind you of someone when they're always right next to you?
maybe its the artstyle but i shouldve stoped at reading the novel instead cus what is going on
Are u saying that as u like the novel more or?
yesss i do i kinda worded it wierd
Artstyle is good tho? I mean it can be your personal preference I feel like it is better than before (S1)
