hello !! i just noticed that this hasn't updated in 3 months, and there's still roughly 4 chapters left tilll the end. Is anyone currently scanlating (or planning to scanlate) this?
i know some readers prefer really strong, dominant, cunning, smart female leads (i find them interesting too!) but y'all have to remember that not all characters will be based on those qualities and u know,,, ppl are allowed to like/make characters that are more "weak-minded" or feeble. but then again, if it's not your thing then that's okay too.
personally i like both bc they have their own different dynamics (like how the plot turns out, how other characters interact with them etc.) but the reason why i tend to gravitate towards more on these types of stories is bc i love seeing the main lead realizing that they!! can!! be!! loved!! and are!! worthy!! the moment they feel the warm feelings of another person i just combust wow

Omg, I so agree! I really admire MC b/c of her character growth. Like when she wakes up and doesn't know what happened (or the power she has), but has already decided that she is never going to be scared of her abusers or beg them again. Even if she is still "weak" and soon gets beat up by the Emperor, she's already changed SO MUCH.
I like how the Ancient God isn't constantly following her around letting her take the lead. My favorite FL's aren't the OP ones, but the mentally strong one's who decide they are going to take control of their lives.

kinda spoiler but not really BUT !! damien is so cute i wanna squish :(( it's a shame he doesn't appear much in the novel (after this arc, he pretty much disappears in the academy. sometimes he gets mentioned but his next official appearance is at the end of the novel iirc + side stories)

the damien arc IS quite long, so he'll be here for a while dont worry lol. Hue will definitely be jealous of damien (when is he not lmao) and we'll see some cute family dynamics
