yeah I feel like the story kinda went flat or something. LIke are we acting as if everything is okay now? Where is the arc?

You have to remember, Wooyeon is a legit psychopath.




In ch90, Wooyeon reminds Inseob that he is a psycho. He doesn't see the world everyone else does, doesn't feel things the way others do, and often manipulates others without remorse. Now, I've read the novel but I don't know what the comic will look like after 90 (that's where the raws are), but the next thing that happens is Wooyeon's birthday.

Right after almost having a breakthrough with Wooyeon practically confessing but still holding Inseob hostage, Wooyeon does a shoot or something while Inseob stays in. Inseob realizes it's Wooyeon's birthday (I forgot if he left his ID behind or something) and decides to go out real quick and buy Wooyeon a birthday cake. He knows he's not supposed to leave the room, but he assumes Wooyeon won't be back for a while.

Obviously he was wrong.

Wooyeon comes back to the room to find Inseob gone. I can't remember if Wooyeon looked for Inseob's passport, but he absolutely flips his sh!t. He goes into the lobby and punches people when they say they haven't seen Inseob, then he runs out into the world for several hours, turning around every Asian man like the insane person he is. When he gets back to the hotel after exhausting himself, Inseob is back with the cake. But Wooyeon is beyond insane and goes absolutely mad. Doesn't even register that there is a cake, pushes Inseob into the room and violently rapes him, while also squashing the cake. That will probably be ch 91-92, heads up.

Then Wooyeon comes to his senses (?) and realizes what he did and vomits. I think he identified a new feeling and it makes him upset. I think he tries to apologize but he really hurt Inseob emotionally (I think physically it didn't require a hospital visit...). So that rattles their relationship.

Later, Inseob finds more fan mail. But a fan threatens him directly and somehow (foggy memory) Inseob gets mortally wounded and sent to the ER for heart surgery. Meanwhile Wooyeon loses his whole damn mind and runs after the stretcher, cuts his own arms, and screams, "he needs blood right!?!? Take my blood! Give him my blood!" Honestly that was super funny to me. I can't wait to see that.

Inseob lives, Wooyeon decides he's probably crazy enough for the both of them and lets Inseob go home for a while. Then he comes to get him and... There was a whole other book honestly and I didn't read that because I couldn't go through it anymore. After Inseob gets back, it's melancholic but kinda happy as two very mentally ill people can be. Kinda felt like that honeymoon period in Killing Stalking that should've never existed. So I stopped there and now pretend that they're living their best lives lol.
