We all know who'll she'll end up with but right now, the emperor seems irrational and obsessed. HE FELL IN LOVE WITH HER BECAUSE OF THE COLOUR OF HER HAIR. Invaded her dreams and lied to her for months. Meanwhile her friend the guard seems hellbent on killing him and apparently hates women if they have affection for the emperor... a weird reasoning disregarding the fact that he killed his parents... BUT STILL, HE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE KIND NO MATTER THE METHODS HE TOOK.
