You know when Izek saw Ruby was hurt (bloody kind of thing) and Izek literally in murderous mode. that's what happened so far from what I read

i read some novel chapters after this scene, and Im not okay. its so depressing.
the sister finds Ruby in the middle of the night walking alone in the garden. and knows that Ruby is on the last phase of her depression, she is scared and sad that Ruby will be gone soon.
Izek win the tournament, and when he is looking for Ruby after winning it, he sees the brother beats her so badly.
I would recommend you read the novel, especially with Ruby pov. its so painful because she doesnt see the point of living, and thought even if she dies nobody would care.
So trueee like she literally give up. She's really done with her life. She also doesn't care if she disrespect that mf brother of his.
He will die no worries izek will kill him
she is so messed up, she doesnt know how to feel nor to think straight.
she is being sassy and clapping her brother back, but she is not sane.
the kiss really burn everything she's build up, like the hope of being happy and helpful not some toy and punching bag.

The fl has a lot's of burden, like she becomes numb. And can't do anything. I feel so bad for her. I hope she can change or have a character development ( smile and happy)
