It’s been years since I read this but I decided to read the recent update and like what happened? I remember there was a plot and the two main characters were more complex at the start but it seems like it just devolved into random scenarios with the occasional allusion to gay romance. The author really needs to get themselves together and let this webtoon end

Nah, it's a win. Our boys are together. They basically explain that the love they feel for each other is the "i wanna stay by your side and i hope it never ends" kind of love. They say that they consider that kind of love as true love and Justin basically says "I think I've fallen for you."
Justin was confused on how they could even love each other if they were both straight but Ian followed up by saying that he was worried Justin would leave him for a girl and also, "I only took you for the sky, the forest, the lake; That's how I love you."
As for how I personally interpret that, I think that Ian is pansexual.
They also state they're only 18 and they don't have all the answers to how they are so they're hoping to find that out together.
I think that Ian is so real for this though, He's probably known for a while that he was in love with Justin, my god it makes me tear up, im so happy for them
Anyway, as much as I love this ending for them, I do think that the author just wanted to end this story and didnt want to devote an entire arc for them but our last arc was probably THE arc where Ian finds out about his feelings anyway.
TLDR: They love each other. They're both still young so they probably dont have a grasp on sexuality yet and Justian forever Woooo
