If you look back in chapter 216 page 12, there is a panel where Aizawa is talking to Shinsou about helping yourself first is a better way to help others, there is Present Mic and someone talking/laughing with him. THAT could be Shiragumo!

Omg so I remember trying to watch the anime and getting put-off but the first few episodes. I disliked a lot of the characters and couldn't continue. Skip forward a few years and here I am, thinking how stupid my younger self was to have to finished this before. God, that last arc with Tsuna willing to fight Reborn to keep him alive... ahhhhhhhhhhh so good.

While I appreciate that this arc is happening so that Nemu can have some character development and begin to love himself, at the same time... When Okino was introduced Maya got super jealous of him and though that since he was in such a fragile state of mind that he might try and go after Nemu. But when Nemu brings up disliking Ruka and wanting Maya to stop talking to him I just felt like... I wanted to take Nemu's side, but at the same time I'm pretty sure (I can't remember) that Nemu hadn't told Maya about Ruka's intentions.
And, yes, it's a different situation. But it feels pretty similar. Idk, I just want them to be back together. It's obvious the both love each other but just don't know how to cope with these troubles. I just hope in the future that their communication will be better and that Nemu will learn to trust in both himself and that Maya loves him.
Part of the problem is Maya never saying I love you before (yes, he's said me too and I know but it's not the same as outright saying it. Nemu has always initiated the I love you). Nemu's self-confidence is bad, and that's not his fault, it's just a part of who he is.
Maya, throughout the whole story, has a bunch of friends, seen as a super hot person (which he is), and is admired by various people. Compare this to Nemu, who has one close friend and is generally seen as nerdy and pretty normal and forgettable. Hearing about how many people want to get with your boy/girlfriend would make anyone nervous. And in the beginning Nemu copes really well, and is glad that Maya is so well-liked. But then Ruka straight up tells him, to his face, that he's going straight for Maya. Ruka, who is everything Nemu isn't.
For me, it's a difficult situation. Obviously you can't tell them to just not have friends, but you also don't want to risk losing them. Nemu has always looked for Maya's happiness. The fact that he spoke up about how uncomfortable he felt with Ruka should've been an indicator of how nervous he was.
Idk, I just wanted to get this off my plate.
