He did. Actually it was him who turned back time because his uncle only wanted him to be the duke, and his aunt was the only who actually cared for him, even in a wicked way, so he wanted to be with her this time.

i was having kinda a hard time accepting that nora was probs gonna be the male lead (i mean, i kinda saw shuli as a 25-year-old and him as a 15-year-old) but after seeing the epilogue chapters i am totally in board with them getting married!!! i can definitely envision them being together a lot better after reading about og!nora’s feelings.
