with jays backstory his dad left his mom for another woman in fear of his son being the heir, his mom wanted to separate themselves(her and jay) from the family so she told jay to not do anything (act like he wasn't developing properly) so his grandfather would disregard them as a possible heir

with yoohan(if this is what u mean), taemin is tricking the blonde guy into thinking that yoohan is actively plotting against him (thinking that the blonde will take his position) so he'll try to destroy yoohan himself (ex. destroying his new expensive car, yoohan needs money to pay for it, goes to loan sharks)

so basically, jay's dad left him and his mother to marry another woman, even having kids with her. When they both divorced, jay's mom asked that she kept jay in exchange of receiving alimony, jay's granddad refused because he wanted jay to be close by to grow him properly (because he was the only heir to the Han Conglomerate at the time.) Because of this, jay's dad was worried that jay would inherit the family's fortune from his granddad.

Before jay's mother left, she promised him to not use his brain, basically to act stupid, and it'll be guaranteed he'd leave with her when she comes back a year later. Jay ended up doing as she said, and was able to leave with her when she came back because the grandfather wrote him off as unfit to be the heir due to his "inabilities" and/or "illnesses". Jay's name was changed from Han to Yoon, and he was removed from the family registry.

But now, Jay's grandfather is now welcoming him back into the family because of his success overseas. This made Jay's bio dad angry because it meant Jay's now a candidate for the fortune (which he most likely will be). So he's cussing out jay's uncle because he thinks the uncle is the one who talked jay into it.

im assuming jay's dad is mad cuz he wanted one of his children (with the other woman) to be the heir.

bravo!!! you got the point. Jay has the brains and resources by using and turning his mother's fortune into a great empire. I guess, during the year of absence of his mom that time, she was busy making business so that she can support Jay and voila! it became fruitful.

Nevertheless, now that her mother's company are thriving great and knowing that Jay's the one managing it came a great news to his grandad and realizes he's the capable one afterall to inherit the WHOLE HAN FORTUNE.

Eversince Jay's father already done misdeed things and dirtying the Han name, I supposed he's already stripped down from the inheritance line, thus making Jay the SOLE candidate for the fortune and maybe less divided the inheritance with his half-siblings coming from the mistress side.
