This is a beautiful read. This is NOT a second Diamond no Ace. This story shows the experiences that the main character has been through in the past in order to become what he is in the present. Almost every side character has made an impact on who the mc has decided to become as a person. It also demonstrates how those side characters have been influenced by the mc, which is not something you see often. I find it disgusting that any of ya'll would compare this masterpiece to a dramatic sports shounen manga where each and every game is at stake. That is what seperates this shounen sports manga from the rest. This manga looks at the bigger picture and really hits you in the feels. The translators did a great job.

Its not like the uke wanted to get a mate in the first place. It was forced on him. I think it was pretty normal for him to continue his job because him and the seme weren't really 'official' and he was still unsure of his feelings. Most people don't put 'love' before your main source of income. He did realise his feelings in the end and stopped sleeping with other people. Thats honestly what matters the most; realising your mistakes and owning up to them.
