Maybe in a different world, the blond guy and MC would have got together instead of this out-of-nowhere ML who only liked MC for being compatible in bed aside from his qualities and nothing more. He's fishing his prey such that in order to protect his dear one, MC would have to seek shelter with the person who made his life hellish, though it would have been difficult to survive atleast some freedom should have let them grow together with every passing danger.
