I don't understand why Keira would think Erez is like Cosette though, because it's not like Cosette has ever tried to be nice to Keira to manipulate her if I remember correctly (correct me if not). She made it clear she was a piece of crap from the start. Erez however has been helping her from the start and would have had no reason to reveal he was a demon if he was trying to ruin her and the empire.
On the other hand, I do understand that all Keira could hear was "I'm a demon" because the shock and fear came quicker than the calm and rationality she usually has. I understand taking a step back to be alone to clear your mind and think, but it's just a bit disappointing to think that Erez's revelation made her forget about all his sincerity so far and only see him as a demon she would've hurt or even killed having the necessary weapons.

As someone pointed it could be because she realized Feng Xin is part of childhood so she went to him but it still, this could change later on. There might even be a timeskip. I read bits of the novel and I'm just realizing they made the ML more of an ass than his novel version. Ngl I'm kinda baffled because usually they would tone down the ML's jerkness in the manhwa adaptations but not here, they tone it up way too much. Kind of mad they did that, they even took away his inner thoughts too. Because the ML is actually a bit understanding of Edith in the novel.
