I do wonder how the conversation will continue after Ian last line. With tj respond to it with change or will he dismiss it with another false hope. Will Ian finally show direct resistance or allow it to continue. I love Ian but he has finally experienced something different with Jo, it's time for Ian make a decision regarding the actions that are happening now.

So even if he shows direct resistance now (after 81 ending scene) we know he will most likely still follow tj after, due to the gang consequences but atleast we know he showed how directly he is changing on how he reacts and that's a good start.

Its horrible to say this but erez and Keira relationship felt so rushed...like out of thin air. Joseph and Keira had the perfect setup for slow burn romance. Their dynamic was so good. Not only that but Joseph had most iconic scenes ML's usually get. Like the balcony scene and the ball. He even told Keira she was most beautiful than the goddess. Like gurrlll come on now. Also with his angst emotional facial expressions, tears, knowing he's just a common knight that won't be but image him prevailing the stigma of a knight x lady ah it would've been great tbh. The author fumbled and shouldve just made Joseph cute banter brother figure instead of wasting his story time.
I do agree what someone said "the sleazy guy at the casino was pointless" it really was and took up unnecessary time, thinking about it, he had Keria give more romantic love to him than compared to Joseph and erez combined.

Happy ending my ass. This was so underwhelming and disappointing. Barely any chasing from Suyeon. It's always Yoonho remembering and missing, always suffering from others consequences. The last chapters felt nothing but empty words from Suyeon. Why do you want hurt Yoonho?
Also, "My feelings never changed" whole ass lie (ch71). The least you can do is get tattoo removal.
All this angst and nothing was made up for it. If yall want something similar to this but better writing, redemption and actually describes realistically how toxic relationships can still affect you even after, go read Terrible In Love. It's actually good and worth it.

I love TJ's character, but that man is a quintessential DL top that loves stringing his partner along because he loves the idea of owning them, but not loving them. As good as their sexual chemistry is, TJ really feels more like a parasite that depends on Ian to be the warm body he can crawl to after a long day of living a lie, and somehow yall are villainizing Ian for being tired of being treated like that, lol. Regardless of whoever Ian ends up with, he is not the demon yall make him out to be, and he deserves to be loved out in the open, not just behind closed doors. Jo offers him that, along with a life away from the violence and death he desperately wants to escape from. I'm not judging yall for liking the toxic and borderline abusive dynamic between TJ and Ian (everyone has a problematic fave, lol), all I'm saying is that Jo will always be the better alternative for Ian if he seeks a life of peace and freeing love.

Oh my, I just noticed something, could be a reach but the author is always detailed with subtle implications she adds. I had said before that Ian always looks very tired and exhausted in the flashbacks with tj. If you notice in the 2nd flashback the motel door has a no smoking sign but once tj enters, Ian immediately grabs the pack of cigarettes and places one in his mouth, without lightning it. It could be showing us how Ian feels about this repeated cycle, how draining it is but still put up with it.

Each flashback I see of their past is always something so haunting. Ian is always so tired and extremely exhausted in them.
Also gross asf of tj teasing Ian with a sex object while he's out with his girlfriend then getting mad Ian is sleeping around but tj here is in committed relationships. Disgusting.

Apparent readers love saying tj the plot but that mf hasn't done anything for the plot but hide and sell a fucking house for a plan that fumbled. Jamie Lee is the plot. He started the domino affect. He stalked Jo, then used Jo to trigger Ian, leading Ian to go back and confront him (jamie) for Jo protection, which he lead Ian to a trap that framed him as a traitor which lead to the bosses trying kill off tj after hearing the news of what Ian did. If we're gonna give credit to who's carrying the story it's fucking LEE JAMIE. Stop being delulu tj ain't do nothing but whine for a relationship he destroyed on his own.

I like Seoin but I do have this to say. Watching people complain about Taegu and Yeongwoon relationship possibly furthering into something is quite funny and hypocritical when the ML, Seoin, basically sexually assulted Yeongwoon more than once. Rooting for a rapist and a victim together but not okay with Taegu? Literally no point in playing morals here. And no, this is not grooming nor pedophilia, do yall even know the meaning to those words or do yall just like throwing it around? Also many BL similar to Miscreants and Mayhem don't get hate so what's the problem now? Because Taegu isn't the ML? Please

So basically he wants someone to love/like in all his all, the real horrible him. He likes to hurt what he "loves" and desire as it the only thing that thrills him. What i don't get is way he kept an eye on Dajeong after him and his mother left them. What desire did he have there to do that for 12years(?).

Guys to sort the confusion. This story was a short story part of an event with short story collection by other authors. So yes this was completed with 16 chapters. But due to popularity and being loved by fans, it was announced in July 2024 it will have side stories with 16 chapters in total as well releasing in spring. Today the author posted an illustration with the captain 3월 22일! meaning the side stories will release March 22nd 2025. So the main story is complete and did end with a cliffhanger. But luckily we're getting it continued with a side story. Hope that helps♡

Tbh no child should go through what Suyeon experience as a child but that doesn't excuse his behavior as an adult. I know gyeol weird ass is keeping him prison but I do not feel bad at all for Suyeon. Deal with the consequences. I don't read as much anymore and decided to just fast/skim read. I notice when more intimate/emotional and/or those scenes that are meant give you flutters or go "OMFG" happen, one male is always face to face with DK while the other is always behind her. Which I found interest but it's weird (esp if you notice what male character is which one) because that feels like the author gonna pull other move that will start fandom drama.

People still thinking Jo is boring because he's a whole green flag when Jo the only character that's unpredictable in the story while that coward tj is the most basic ass setup motherfucker in the story that he's very predictable, yet by according to yall, is moving on, when it's still by doing what he always does, choosing the gang over Ian (AGAIN). Nineteen (sixteen) years of the same setup that little bitch couldn't do real jack for Ian (except for one incident) . Yeah sure but Jo the boring one when he's the one risking his morals just for Ian sake because Ian had no one to actually protect him when the only one he did have sent him to prison to hold him down with money, not because Ian needed. Yes tj rat ass made Ian pay for protection in prison when tj should've done it with no consequences knowing Ian struggles. The only chemistry they had is sex and nothing more and relationships take more than just sexual connection.

Sorry for my language, I'm usually chill but I'm just sick of yall saying the same shit again and again when yall love characters like/similar to Jo in other series so??. The whole point of this story is change. Yall really think Jo gonna continue being goodie goodie teacher pet yall assume he is when we already saw that he can handle himself especially in unexpected situations, like tj stupid ass goons who tried him or when tj tried to pay him off with money. So if Jo does turn yellow or red he's still gonna prove that he's better than fuckface tj who only thought of greed and himself. At least if Jo turns red it be for Ian, which I'm fine with because why should Jo leave because he has it good but he knows deep down Ian deserves that good life too and why cant Ian have someone who has that good life try to protect him and show that everything can and will be okay WITHOUT TRYING TO OWE A DEBT.

The real slow burn and yearning is Jo and Ian, yall will deny it but yall prove they are a proper slow burn because yall constantly say they have no chemistry because its slow. That's how chemistry can work, slow and steady, of course with several bumps but the progress pay through the end.

Oh and fuck anyone who still claims Ian the only problem and keeps leading the male leads on. I just know you read on a surface level. Who you think gave Ian this internally trauma that still affects him in present time. Ian needs change and only one can proved that.
