i read this just bc i saw a clip in yt. the start was fine but i started hating the main character somewhere along the way. dumb whiny ass twink. i read yaoi to get away from that kind of shoujo character tropes bc they irritate me so much only to find that they started applying the same trope to bl/men
LMAOOOOO SHE BACKED OFF BECAUSE OF MC'S BOOBS
i can't
somebody oughta get smacked because whats with the complete status? i read this thinking it'll be short but apparently its not ugh
yes, it's my fault for expecting they'd talk first before they fuck .
but also when they had sex, i had a thought that maybe it's just what they needed bc of the stress of being spearated. idk if it makes sense but in real life it be that sometimes, u fight and then u meet and have sex and realize u just really needed physical intimacy
the top is frustrating me, but more so the bottom in the recent chapters. i actually clapped for him when he retorted, "haven't i suffered enough" to the doctor, only to go back to the top in the end. bruh wtf is the use of even breaking the bond if you're gonna act like this.
he was just surrounded by abnormal people riddled with superiority complex, thats why they said he was the weird one :((((
does anyone know if her shown briefly at chapter 1 is the present life going to be tackled in the manhwa? and this rn is a flashback of some sorts.
this is so... refreshing. an ml who actually has a personality, and an fl who is allowed to embrace her pervy side and not just be a cute innocent character.... aside from that, even though the in-laws are obsessed w fl, u can still sense their love for ml. usually manhwas make other characters' "tsundere-ness" an excuse to go all in w the fl obsession. also the fl's proactiveness w the proposal, though i lost track of who actually proposed bc it seems like the two have been proposing to each other almost every chapter.
literally got in contact again with his dad just so you'll have a job in a company your mother can brag about lol
lmaooo its so funny that hestia pushed for swanhaden to be magically restricted because some of his bullying is because of her
i really love the running away and hiding the child trope because i love angst. and given that realistically, its hard for an individual to justify doing that, i dont ask much from these stories, just that on a surface level the conflict makes sense and the romanceee is there... the romance is the center of those tropes... so imagine my disappointment when the romance could barely be gleaned in this story. the author couldnt balance the three major keypoints that drive this story: politics-conflict, bond of mother and child, bond of fl and ml. if this was one of those mangas that reach up to 300 chapters, i feel like all 3 couldve been more fleshed out and thus would be more satisfying to read, but since its not, the author shouldve focused on one thing instead and made everything else relatively simple. this shouldve been a child raising manhwa with how much screentime theor has. the mc isnt the fl, it honestly seems like its theor. idk, objectively, fl has more screentime but its like the mc is theor, not mc
i could see the appeal of this story, but at the end of the day, depending on the direction the story takes, my qualms are with the author, not the character (hero) itself. all i could think of while reading this is sylus from love and deepspace; he also has all the boxes ticked like the hero, and he also loves the female lead, but he still values her autonomy and choice, even though they're predestined. the two of them may have been chosen by the stars to be together, but here on earth he still needs to be chosen by her willingly, without any sort of pressure. the reason why i said i could see the appeal of this story is because i also enjoyed a lot of stories like these in the past, but after encountering sylus' arc, my enjoyment on this kind of manga has lessened. being respected, at the end of the day, is still much more meaningful.
at least woojin made it clear now that he has a line. imagine having what's basically a maid and barging in on someone else's house, yet still having the audacity to insult the owner of said house. if he didnt like that they're together, he shoudlve left. that thing he was saying about seunghyuk could also very well apply to him
i thought they were supposed to hold a meeting before each time they enter the arena??? where are the consequences of minsu ignoring that? i thought they'd at least address it in a meeting yknow, because it's such a big deal, the kids can lose their lives. like i get doing away with that during the second time if minsu will explain to the parents, but the first time, they need info yknow.
Jang Seung-Min, a self-proclaimed decent actor, will be filming a drama with national actor Ha Hyun-...

hmmm... plot seems underdeveloped. also i got the ick when leehak said himself he was leaving clues here and there about him, and just the story in general making kyowoo's "scavenger hunt" a big deal. author wanna make it seem like the investigation was necessary, but then the two also communicate well???? and leehak says to kyowoo, "just ask me", but then you know he's sniffing around, and you can't open the convo up yourself??? thats the inconsistencies which is why after the story i cant really grasp the relationship of this two. all i took from it is that leehak is an enigma wannabe and kyowoo is just the typical uke
if u ever need to toss someone's phone out and u care about them (like the situation in this manhwa), remember to make sure to delete their info from the phone first.
ok i feel like i'm going to get mad with this one so im gonna marinate it first to completion
the tutorials at the end of each chapter as if the readers are going to do the same exefcises in the same manner lmao
