I just started this and GOLLY the pacing is so bad idek what’s going on and idk why it’s happening this has a high rating so imma see how it goes but it’s a common fact that the standard for manhwas is way lower than for mangas so I‘m not optimistic
I‘m on ch. 21 rn and this really isn‘t good so far. The Mc is awful. And not even necessarily in a sense that he’s a bad person, since there are many mangas were the mc is morally ambiguous and I don’t mind. But there’s no redeeming quality about him, he’s not even charming or an interesting character. Genuinely, it comes down to the writing being shit. He reminds me of a washed down and lacking version of Yashiro from „Twittering birds don’t fly“ or Jin from „under the green light“. This story has interesting elements but they are all written so badly, that even having some of my fav tropes, won’t save it. The „big reveal“ of the ML finding out about the MCs secret was so anti climatic that I had to put my phone down and re-write it in my head. Shi had no build up whatsoever. The only interesting thing about the MC is the relationship with the ML but I don‘t see no reason why should even root for their relationship

Idk if it’s my period cycle but I‘m feeling very emotional about this they’ve come such a long way and it‘s actually so beautiful to see such pure siblings love. The manga was funny and eerie but it was also very heartwarming to see their dynamic as siblings develop and the end was bittersweet I’ll miss them sm
I remember this story and I hated every fucking character except Kikuchi. The thing that hurts the most is that its actually good in a way that the author is very talented (she made akiyama kun) but everything is so twisted and sad that I feel physically repulsed by this Them characters are straight up evil mane
