I think stories like this are interesting bc we know as the audience that Asuka's reaction was pretty valid and necessary, but bc Ao has a victim mindset (which makes sense in this beast world) he will constantly believe that being a pushover (bc that's all he can be as a prey--- victim mindset/self narratives) is the better response.... its pretty frustrating to read as Ao shifts the blame onto Asuka for reacting with justified violence (in my humble opinion)
