Mori just needs more confidence senpai is a stubborn bastard and Mori is blind sometimes by the idea of losing him. He gives off an energy that says "I'll take what I can get" most of the time and only when he's sexually frustrated is he able to finally force senpai to give in. This is the pattern we've come to know.
However if Mori was always like "idgf what you want" in his attitude senpai is at a point where that would work. If he sees that his weak attempts at refusal don't work anymore than maybe he'd let the simple things happen more often.
I kind of understand and agree with you but I realized that i've been Following this stories for years now and it's Always the same pattern and the progress is soooo slow it makes me want to give up cause it make me feel like it will take some other years for senpai to just say "I like you"
I know that a character such as senpai who was "homophobic" AF from the start can not switch that easily but sensei is dragging to much this PULL & PUSH Relationship.
Morinaga is 1000% in love with senpai and sometime it makes him miserable and painfull to see, senpai is only give 50% at best.
There is a limit to denial !!

I totally get you this was my very first yoai that I had ever read and that was back in 2014. My soft spot for this series will always blur my point if view. But wow now that I really think about it it really is taking forever to get to the point in this manga let's see how I feel in a couple more years. We in it for the long game.
