No shit Sherlock Holmes (no offense). It's clear Ci Nian gonna have a immature misunderstanding and not talk like a fucking adult. It pissed me off for he is some of the ukes that I really like who is strong and independent. Miscommunication has become so common that it is a big turn off in the story as it is such common and over used trope.

Well our uke did go through a lot. The last time he placed his trust on someone, he got back stabbed by a F-ing cheater. Even if qu cheng has been nice and trustworthy since the beginning, it doesnt mean our uke can completely trust him after what he had experienced before. If you see it as in real time, They've probably been dating for only a few month. Plus, qu Cheng is like a underground boss with many secrets, he tends to hide stuff from our Uke even though our UKe asked him before hand but he still prefer to hide it which may lead to a misunderstanding so you can't really blame our UKe if you were to put yourself in his situation.

Yeah but cmon, it’s clear that it’s something author did for whatever reasons. I understand Past and bla bla but Someone calls the dude at night who might it be, anyone knowing who might it be? We obviously someone we don’t know, I hate it when authors randomly put memory loss, misunderstanding things on series. Characters randomly start acting sus, ml not making any explanation hanging out with random people. This sticky ass dude will not I for his love? He even tried hard to not to be misunderstood in past yet what.

Communication goes both ways, Ci Nian is not at fault here, Que Cheng is the one acting behind his back even though he knows how traumatized Ci Nian is about people lying to him.

I don't know about you but I also don't like when authors tend to put misunderstanding situations within the storyline but it's not really all that people. Not everyone thinks like that, you could these kind of things sort of extend the story and drama between the couple. It's just like in a martial art type story, there's always those classic bitches that appears in the story that we all hate but the story would be boring if there were enemies that would look down on our mc. Sometimes the author just gotta do his thing and extend the story. For me, if there were no misunderstanding situations, it would have turned into a fluffy type story that Im not a fan of much cuz it gets boring easily when there's no plot to it but I do get what you mean.
