I don't think the uke is smart to begin with , but in novel he will get more simple minded , I don't know what that mean but I think it hint that his intelligence is getting slower like he loss ability to make simple decisions by himself , I think it also stockhom syndrome and anxiety he develop cuz what going to happen to him

in very begining their was korean site where the novel was avaliable with out translation so that where I first read it the translation was bad , but I managed to read the whole novel roughly , but now their another English translation of the novel but it still not complete yet ,so I actually kinda reading it twice now , you don't need to believe in my spoilers , just didn't want you to have false hopes
