I enjoyed the story. I appreciate the fact that he was able to recognize what he did wrong and talk about it. But I feel like there should be a second volume to further develop their relationship. There was something lacking. But overall a pretty decent read imo.

Typically I don't read many switch BL. I like it when you know which is the bottom and which is the top. Or I really like power bottoms but the author really did a great job with this story that I don't mind them being switches.

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! I FOUND A HIDDEN JEM OF A STORY! It's so refreshing. The slow burn is so good too. Like it's slow but progressing at a decent pace too. Lately there's been more and more stories that involve deaf characters after A Sign of Affection and I'm loving them. It's great seeing characters with handicaps navigate the world.
This has become one of my many comfort reads. It's so nice to see such a healthy adult relationship portrayed. Since so many BLs have very toxic storylines, inappropriate age gaps, SA, incest etc.
