Imagine if you were in this kind of situation and were her parents, would you be uncomfortable with the fact you’re allowing your child to marry someone that was 15-17 while your child was 7 months old.

I’m sorry but acknowledging that the situation was “acceptable” because of the context (different time) is completely different from normalizing it. I’m not agreeing to the concept of such a large age gap and everything but I understand that my values won’t 100% match because of the historical setting.
If you think that a shoujo manga having a 12 yr old and a 27 yr old together encourages normalization of such acts, then that’s a bit of stretch. People who read yandere themed mangas don’t normalize it or think it’s acceptable? They are merely consuming a fictional story. Don’t try to discourage or shame people for consuming content that you don’t agree with unless it’s illegal or is hurting someone directly. Simple.
