What i'm saying is that although you are correct in your statment,in that what Kurisu is doing is hurting those around him, Niina needs to understand that he can't force Kurisu to accept the realtionship without considering Kurisu's worries of losing the only child/family he has left.

It just seemed that Niina was trying get Kurisu to show his true colours without considering his reasons behind it.

Everyone has something to hide that they think will ruin their lives if revealed, now if someone were to reveal it or try to make them reveal it they are prone to irrational thoughts and behavior to protect what they are hiding. Even if nothing will change if it is revealed.
