I love how the pacing suits the MC. His calm and gentle demeanour really suits the smell of his pheromones. I can't wait to see how the story will unfold (▰˘◡˘▰) Slow burn are the best.
At the end of the day, you have to hear the whole side of the story and put more trust on what you saw, what you feel and what your intuition says. It's such a touching moment seeing him acknowledge that he knows his partner the most. Cirrus's persona has been through difficult times and that's why he's so messed up.
I do hope Candy is gonna get better on the following chaps. It's really cruel of the author if they decided to do something so awful and add more misery to Cirrus's life.
