I agree completely with what you said. Honestly, if you mess up, what else can you even do but apologize and try to show your sincerity? For one, if I screwed up something with my lover, I’d apologize and then ask them for a second chance. It’s up to them if they accept it or not. It’s not coercion as long as you’re being honest with your feelings. The rest is up to your partner how they take it.
One thing that hurts me most about this couple is the fact that the emotional and mental stress literally has nothing to do with their relationship. They love each other perfectly fine and they both respect each other. All their problems stem from the circumstances of their relationship and all the folks (red head bastard and grannie) messing things up. If you took these two and put them in a world where they had freedom, there would be no problems with their relationship and they’d frickin’ marry already. And it’s sad this stuff happens in real life. Even if people love eachother, if the circumstances doesn’t allow for it, it’s very tiring but even so, you don’t want to let go because you know the love is there.
