Saying this because again, I don’t know the age demographic here. But having sex with someone when they’re unconscious IS rape. Just saying. Carry on.

That’s a dangerous advice you got there. You know a reader can admit this is rape but still read the story and recognize that the others aspects are well done, right? I really don’t see the point of looking for other interpretations in order to think « oh this is not rape this is fine » since it’s your right to be hooked to a story despite the rape. Admitting it and moving on with your day is way more healthy than not aknowledge rape scenes.
Since the problem IS downplaying rape: for example, making up interpretations in order to show the rape as non existent or ambiguous
« for this kind of BLs (and I mean psychological) just follow the MC’s thoughts and how he perceives that » —> nop, that’s not how things work: if you see a murder in a story you are not gonna say you can’t call it murder because it’s useless to « throw reality into this » right? So I don’t see why you would do it for rape. BY LAW, you can sentence a rapist whether or not the victim has some thoughts that would lead to otherwise. Because by law, you are a rapist if you didn’t get clear consent, that’s just it. It’s way simpler that most people let you think it is (no interpretation, no BS)
The uploaded did not come to play! Back after back. Thankful (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
