these comments are why if there was ever an end of the world apocalypse i’m just offing myself.
“why couldn’t they just banish him” “it’s just medicine for his son”. bruh. society has literally crumbled.
they can’t produce more medicine. and if they can, those supplies are very very limited because the people who actually go out and get the supplies need first dibs on said medicine to be able to go out and get supplies! and they live in a secret haven separated from hell outside. the goal is no one should know this place even exists.
yall need to pull off the rose colored glasses cause like i said, if any of you actually said this shit in real life under very real life apocalyptic standards, i’d lose my ever loving mind.
have fun downvoting me.

Sorry to burst your bubble but they literally blindfolded everyone when they arrived to the village, they did the same to teach and guwan said it was a mandatory thing. So they literally could've blindfolded the old guy, driven him far and then dumped him somewhere else. Bro still wouldn't know where the village is. That's just not an excuse

i think that’s fair. would i go so far as to saying that’s not an excuse? no. because everyone knew what the punishment was, from the chapter it was clear that everyone understood what would happen at and after the trial. again, if i’m putting my life on the line, life or death, in maintaining a safe society… i’m not taking ANY chances for someone to put that in jeopardy. blindfolds definitely lessen that chance significantly, but don’t eliminate it entirely.

Yeah, you said you'd rather not take any risks. Implying you'd probably find yourself in a point where you feel the need to do the bad for the good. Degrading your mentality further until there is no moral judgment. I've read my post apocalyptic books, I know how these things go. It's not bad but it sure is ignorant

i’m not “being angry” i’m literally just stating what i think. and if you think differently like i said, cool. but why are you being arrogant? saying things such as “when you know what is morally right and just” as if i’m supposed to automatically agree with you. people react differently to different situations. which is again, why i said, i’ll just off myself because it’s not worth having to deal with situations like the one we’re discussing. and i’m replying because AGAIN, it’s my post.

I would suggest that the father now has to become a ‘hound’ and now has to replace the medicine that he stole. Or, find something of equal or greater value. And he would have no privileges until he fulfilled his duty.
Of course, I’d also blindfold him before sending him out because he’s proven to be untrustworthy.
There’s still a risk with this, of him running away and trying to come back with people to get his son. It wouldn’t matter if he didn’t know the exact location. Just the rumor of a place like this existing is a MAJOR threat.
Another negative is that it would take away time and energy guarding him etc. that could be spent elsewhere.

Yeah if you make a post expect replies, that's just media in general. Also I wasn't trying to be rude, if you go back I'm just being more factual replying to your replies. I like to say that EVERYONE at least has some moral judgment which is why I said you would know what is just and right. Unless you're mentally challenged which I hope your not. Anyways I've already moved on, I'm not dissing you about your opinion I'm just being factual from what's given to us

okay. i went back to your comments, but you didn’t. the very first thing you said was “sorry to burst your bubble” you’re a psychoanalyst. what do you think when someone starts a sentence off in that way. then you go on to say “how is this being debated ” which is ironic to you saying if i post then i should expect replies… then you lovely put in how i’m ignorant. so. what now?

I'm pretty sure if you know what the moral right and choose to ignore it for self interest, it IS being ignorant. The moral right would be to just blindfold him and leave him somewhere far away for the maggots to deal with. Far enough they wouldn't know where to go and Like others have said, there are better ways than just bludgening someone to death lol like using a knife. How is that being rude?

you’re missing the whole point. and at this stage there is no way you’re a psychoanalyst because if you were you would know that the basis of morality has footholds in both relativity and universalism depending on a myriad of factors. even if you were to argue that the do no harm portion of it is strong, to imply that it’s higher than situation based moral implications is strongly biased and not factual in the slightest. furthermore, to desgods point, i fear that you not seeing your words, the ones i quoted from you, were not rude is… a problem in and of itself.

Well I did say to ignore your moral judgment is ignorant but I also said it wasn't bad, if you go back to my reply it's says there. I say it wasn't bad because everyone has an experience that shapes them to be what they are. It's true that by ignoring your morality you decend further down which is why I'm pressing the issue that morality is important in these situations. No one can say "if the circumstances were this way..." you need to have a moral judgment when the apocalypse comes, it keeps your humanity which is extremely important on a universal scale affecting not only you but your decisions, actions, and peers. Your outlook, I wasn't dissing you in the beginning, I was simply telling you that despite all avenues, there are better ways of handling such situations.

“it’s true that ignoring your morality you descend further down”. no it’s not. all those words are completely subjective. you would first have to define each persons morality and what that means to them, and you would also need to define what “further down” means by their OWN perception, not yours. on top of that would need to define the actions of ignoring. again. none of this is factual in the slightest. you’re taking your own world view and assuming it as the basis of everyone else’s. this is how i know you’re not a psychoanalyst, because they literally teach this in psych 101 and as a “psychoanalyst”… that’s your whole job??? “better ways of handling it” again subjective. i told you through all the comments that you can believe what you believe and so can i point blank. even the concept on what humanity is, extremely nuanced. the whole concept on morality that again, basic psych, it can change. so yeah, i’m done commenting because on top of failing to see your rude comments, you are legitimately exercising bad faith bias from the jump. something a real psychoanalyst would never do.

Okay, legit question.
Are you ESL(English second language)? Because you’re literally using MANY words you obviously don’t know the meaning of.
I’m not trying to insult you.
I’m genuinely trying to help you for the future. You’re misusing and misunderstanding a lot of the terms/concepts you’re using.

You don't even know what a psychoanalyst does this is what I got after reading your response. But nevermind, I'm just gonna let you believe what you will. I've already got the gist of your character. Regardless of how you thought of my responses I still wish you a great day tho. I wasn't as rude looking back at my own responses, seems more like you guys were the aggressors or smth but yeah.

If interested, just list everything that concerns you about my previous statements. I'm in court a lot for disclosed reasons (not me, just people doing evil things) so my language is a bit professional now lol, that were getting into the mind as I like to say. But please list out everything I've said that you believe to be wrong or misused. Also keep in mind that when I was replying previously I was literally reading the comic, so my responses are literally just how a person reading a book would respond, filterless and in discussion mode. I was replying because the main account was replying back, simple as that, but please list out all the thing I got wrong if you're invested, I'll do my best to clarify

…I guess the avoidance of the question is an answer in and of itself. I was genuinely trying to help you but whatever. I really don’t care enough to put anymore brain energy into this.
Pro tip, you shouldn’t let pride or…whatever it is you have going on stop you from growing as a person or gaining knowledge.
Good luck with your ‘professional language’ and ‘psychoanalysis’ of people doing ‘evil things’ in ‘court’.

Alright cool, and no I don't let pride go into anything when it comes to psychoanalysis. From the earlier responses I was responding how someone reading a book on their break time would respond. I didn't curse at anyone nor deflect anything, but for some reason people seem to take a heated angle when debating certain topics. I was having a discussion and without much in return you guys immediately felt offended without giving my statements much thought to the matter. I could go on and on about how the human psyche works ( its something I love) but I don't because this is a fictional story and only people interested would really spare the time to discuss such cool topics. Have a great day or night then, and maybe don't take things so seriously when it comes to someone reading a BL?

some people say they will never touch this again, others are hoping for more…

I can only hope the ones that said they won't touch it again actually stick to their convictions so that the rest of us can enjoy. The story told us exactly what it is from the jump so if they're still here and they don't like it (but let's be honest, they actually do like it if they're still here), that's on them lol
not only is it hilarious but it’s ORIGINAL. how refreshing
