There is nothing wrong with asking others for help when in trouble, you know. And there is a whole rift between that and "beg high tiers for help". You're missing the point.

it's part of it bc this action lead to her being protected to me it seemed like the author said that this is what john should have done when the ones acting like saviors now should've done so even when not asked to do so as it goes without saying

There is the thing with Sera not looking for someone to protect her, though. She was just running away from a beating, a friend of hers caught her running and decided to stand for her, she in no condition to refuse the help, opted to rely on her friend.

That and John's various encounters with bullies are barely similar in the sense that both were about one side giving a beating to the other for no good reason.

I think the issue you're addressing has to do with Sera "relying on her High tier friend" and them "pretending to do the right thing". But should she had encountered, let's say Evie, you know, the flashlight girl, the result would've been the same, in the sense that Evie would've stood for her to help her escape or failing to scape too, I can totally see them both getting beaten in that situation xD

It was expected that Blyke would've helped Sera there, not only because Sera is someone he respect, but because they've grown to be in a friendly relationship of mutual trust and understanding sharing a common goal. He just doesn't turn a blind eye on a friend in trouble.

John has nothing to compare in that situation.

And, now that I think about it, John was in that exact situation once, when running from some idiots in the earlier chapters, Sera caught him runnning and stepped in on the brawl. "...Must be nice being friends with the goddess of the school" iirc that was her character introduction. This is a situation highly particular. The bully issue with John and this hardly has something in common.

It just shows friends being friends. And that is the point I think was being missed. Not about something John should've done when he got cornered and so on.

so in conclusion you agree w my part that high tiers only helped those they want to care about bc they're friends etc not because it is right in general which is my problem w this author who still tries to portray the high tiers as " naive " superheroes

Well, it's not something to agree or disagree, they did and still do, just like any people care and help those they hold close. I wouldn't jump the gun and put all of them in the same trash can.

Arlo aside, who was a total idiot in early chapters btw, Remi blyke and Isen who were the other highest ranked weren't into beating low tiers for fun.You know Remi's family situation that took her attention from her duties as queen, she didn't even participated in turf wars. Blyke just hanged with Remi and Isen, so he wasn't interested in anything more than that, heck, he wasn't even interested in being stronger, his experience and control of his ability came from his squabbles with Isen and turf wars every now and then just to fill a spot, and Isen was the gofer of the king while working on school media which was his thing.

Point is, there are people that are just idiots, and there are others that just keep to themselves and their own problems. I don't see in any way forced or hypocritical that Remi and her gang is now working on stopping senseless violence since now she's following on her brother's steps.

Remi and gang are growing quite well, and they do because they already had a taste of how is true violence from the hands of true criminals. I say now that we're kinda leaving John's arc behind, story is focusing on really interesting plot points.

I know they had problems but if you accept the title and privilege you will be held accountable
i dont forgive idiots because they are idiots low-tiers were hurt almost every day
there's not much to say you see this from a neutral perspective i relate to the characters and for me the high-tiers are too late and cannot be forgiven

I think John's reached that same conclusion. That's why he's been slowly leaving the spotlight, because if he doesn't take part in the solution he'll just be left behind as a mistake.
