I actually don’t find the female lead stupid, I think it a reasonable mistake, she saw how her brothers wife was getting mistreated, and resonated, it would’ve been weird if she saw her evil personality slip through and still eat the chocolate…I mean you shouldn’t eat what others gives you so easily but her “naivety” can be forgiven, it says a lot about her character.
She probably just wants to be there for someone who has now taken her position, she knows how it’s like in that family, without meaning she trusted her too quickly. I also thought that the girl could be sneaky when we were first introduced to her but she went about it quite differently….if anything I think she’s just stupid for going to her brother for help…that to me is crazy.
I’ve never read a straight romance where they don’t show the pregnancy stages….just saying

Some people here have too much enjoyment that they forgo what is actually acceptable and what is not. Don’t be upset by others being upset by what had just happened, it should be understandable if anything…it’s odd that you’d rather insult them instead, even if it was fiction, don’t numb yourself so much when it comes to these things, you might even dismiss this stuff irl…just saying.
