Personally I love these yandere crazies, so I don't mind that he has not left yet
but even if you want him to leave I think you will find his reasoning and struggle compelling. The story is well told and it has lots of suspense and psychological elements that makes it transcend most of the toxic "kidnapper to boyfriend" slop stories, if that is your fear. I recommend
