YES! That scene alone is the reason why I love this story so much, yes he raped mokwa, but he knows that it’s something he never should have even considered. Which is why he tries to win mokwa over with love and gifts when he could just rape him, because he wants to be better and he wants to be a good lover

but now he's back to being a manipulative selfish stuck up jerk, who's literally only thinking about what HE wants.. as if Mohkwa is some brainless doll. Mohkwa doesn't have much feelings and opinions of his own, he KNOWS that and is taking advantage of the fact.

Lmao thats why i went back to those chaps again to see him wail and sob. if the author does their magic again, copper will be a dumbass and see serious consequences (again). And i also like that he didnt change 100% makes him super realistic, a bad person isnt gonna change that easily especially because his regret was him thinking mokwa died, if he was actually dead he MAYBE would’ve changed a lot. But mokwa alive (thank god) which is def being taken into consideration with the coppers character development omg im so excited to see what the author does next ヾ(☆▽☆)

Also no complete redemption for a manipulative rapist, hes such a pos im glad hes still a fucking bitch. i wouldve dropped it. If the author made him a saint after ONE event

For real. Part of why I like nakwon is that he’s an asshole to everyone around him. It’s entertaining, and unless it’s mokhwa he doesn’t even try to act nice. For example, seeing him be an absolute menace to all his coworkers and understlings. i also like that their relationship progress has been impacted by his violence against mokhwa (those rape scenes are brutal to read)

part of why I love his mental breakdown scene is his internal thoughts. Nakwon is an impulsive individual, that always acts to his desires without considering the consequences. But seeing mokhwa presumably dead, he realizes everything he had done to mokhwa was unforgivable, and for once regrets what he did. He tries to hurt himself on the hand, the same place he hurt mokhwa, but obviously that’s futile and doesn’t reverse the damage he caused.

I think it’s been six months of Nakwon trying to get closer to Mokhwa with little progress. I’m used to other series immediately brushing rape under the rug, and have the rapist completely forgiven and magically transform into a green flag. But Nakwon showing up to mokhwa flower shop and trying to get closer to him is pretty pathetic. Even Nakwon knows he’s pathetic, but he keeps doing it.

Just the contrast from how we first meet Nakwon, an arrogant corrupt asshole cop, to now. He is still all the previous things, but now pathetically in love and simping over someone that will barely even smile at him. Personally I love it.
