(Spoilers) Wow. What a ride. The end I’m not sure how I feel about just yet. I needed a bit more closure. There wasn’t much between Leon and Lizzie towards the last 30 chapters . The big fight between Leon and Lizzie felt a bit meh to me, probably a tad tedious after the beautiful resolution previously. I wish we saw some of their married life. But it went high key into plot. Some of their mistakes the imperials did in the last act I wanted to scream. It was pretty much watching the bad end to a beloved development. I guess that was the point?
I wish we saw everyone in the new timeline again. I did believe in the love between Leon and Lizzie. I just want them to be happy with their parents (obvs empress and emperor not Lizzie’s birth parents) but we don’t know if that’s how this timeline will go. My heart is hollow but the story was pretty good. Almost masterpiece but the last third I didn’t enjoy as much as the first 2 parts. Some arguments tedious. Not showing as much love.
I felt for Leon in the last half. Sure he was being stupid not telling her but the stress of everything was a lot.
Umm someone please tell me if the elf and the MC get together. Elf is a butch lesbian queen
I feel we could wrap this up in ten/twenty chapters. Not every story needs to be so long winded but since most manhwa are based off novels you know they’ll drag this out for 100 chapters
(Also for anyone lurking don’t read the spoilers in the comments it completely killed my desire to continue this series)
