No. In English it's more like hehe or haha or kyahaha(for girls) and bwhaha (for boys).
On the English side, when kk is used, it is usually used by gamers as a way to affirm that they understand what is going on when someone explains something. So lets say you are going into a dungeon for the first time, and the tank says, " Healer, run left." As the healer, to affirm you will and understand you respond back with, "Kk." basically it is used as Okay, and yes, and understood all at that same time :)
