Thank you for the updates!!! ╥﹏╥
Love that Noelle is kept on a leash in the church, even tho it probably won't be for long. Rebecca is really the best for the job hands down
I also hope Chloe will be soon exposed as the snake she is - I'm sad that the dukes real daughter is already dead, kinda wished she could also have had her revenge
And Kayden is actually cute (sometimes), she is absolutely right!
See, I'm so invested in this that I actually remember most of the names (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

The dukes daughter died: Emily Oren. (looked up the name lol chapter 72 ლ(´ڡ`ლ))
Because Chloe pretended to be her friend, Emily's last wish was for her father to adopt Chloe. In some backflashs it was shown how Chloe meticulously isolated and manipulated her, just like doing it with Noelle in the original. The current duke Oren is said to be mourning over her death, that's why Chloe had so much authority and leeway regarding business

This is incredibly good. The characters are likeable, no harem but plenty of good interactions and friendship. (and normal female characters that actually have a character!!!) The fight scenes are really good and the story line interesting from the get go
If it hadn't been for the mass updates I would have completely forgotten this story and never been aber to (re)read such a gem
Thank you sm for that(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I realised that the art really is one of the most important parts of the experience for me... So this actually helped me to find out that I loved esp the art style in the first season!
The prev artist is todac_s, else known as syunnyun
So I ran straight to reread his other works (▰˘◡˘▰)
They include Failed to Abandon the Villain, Return of the Disaster Class Hero and Man of Kunkankan (last one isn't translated here yet)
(And surprise surprise; they were all already my favs, I somehow never connected them though)

I am still very confused ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
This was a rather dramatical version of the villainess story. L's identity and importance actually makes sense but why the heck did they concentrate so much on her brother if he never showed up? Just to make it clear that she still suffered from her past life?
exactly what i was thinking! like just give her a vague backstory all this brother stuff is useless if they're not going to do anything with it. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
Doesn't it suck when they're like "btw MC has TONS of trauma" and then don't properly touch on it or forget about it later as if it never existed?? If she's obsessed about her brother situation to the point it's affecting all her decisions then of course it's important enough to bring up a bunch?? Tho that aside the story does flow weird so I'm not defending it on a whole lolol
I just think they "did" plenty with it since it affects all her major decisions, isn't that doing something?
