This is literally about rape and kidnapping there was never gonna be any character development or changes in the first place and even if he did have some that wouldn’t change the fact that he all the other stuff to nakyum
i disagree. there were a lot of instances where seungho felt regret and showed worry even though it's slight which is, in my eyes, character development. does it change the fact that he raped nakyum? no. of course not. but i don't see how this is an indicator or excuse really for having absolutely 0 character development whatsoever.
this started out relatively well too, the rape scene in the pavilion (?) was extremely uncomfortable to watch for me and i did not feel even the slightest hint of romance. the more romantic scenes afterwards were obvious signs of stockholm syndrome but frankly, i didn't mind as much since seungho started developing feeling for nakyum as well. the two of them getting sick afterwards was a weak and way too common plot device but it's usually used as a trigger for character development so having hope was understandable.

you can like him for all i care as i admit he is an interesting character and has gone through a lot of shit that he doesn't have control over - but he was still a narcissistic asshole who assaulted the person he supposedly loved physically AND sexually. it was his OWN choice. i personally do hope he'll get on the right path some day but it's DEFINITELY justified if people don't like & can't forgive him.

dude... if he assaulted his friend he is by definition a bad person lmao maybe he became a better person, i don't want to doubt that, but if people don't want to forgive him (including chiwoo) that's totally justified because doing bad things actually has consequences? i'm just tired of people saying "he did nothing wrong" or whatever because he absolutely DID mess up. you can explain bad actions but it doesn't necessarily excuse them (as in this case)
