i hope when dan feels isolated and lonely he can remember the gym guys who clearly have and show so much love and care towards him. i’m a bit irked that the author didnt make dan feel a bit emotional or loved when all the guys were hugging him and loudly expressing how much they missed him. it would’ve been nice to surround dan with people other than jk and his elderly friends.

We still can't say Bada is an npc for sure IMO. I mean if we think about it, if a player's tape is removed they'll also act as npcs. Soooo what's the difference really between npc Bada and the players that removed their tapes? For all we know Bada could have been in the game first before Doha and the others arrived
Exactly, There's nothing stopping the author from making all of them NPCs that's gone sentient by the end of it.

Yea but we litterly don't know how much medicine there is if the ones who go outside all the time to get supplies get sick because we also don't know what type of apocalypse it is and let's say there are only enough for litterly 3 people then no one will be getting anyyyyy supplies at all. Plus it's everyone for themselves in scenarios like these mostly, it's very believable that they did it this way.

OMG TEA WHAT IF BADA HAD LOOOOONG AGO DISCOVERED THE EXIT BUT TO KEEP HIM WITH HIM, DOHA ERASED HIS TAPE THUS MAKING HIM AN NPC, THEN WHEN BADA REPLACED HIS TAPE IN THE PLAYER, HE WAS THEN ABLE TO SAVE MEMORIES AS HE WENT ON BUT DIDNT REMEMBER HIS PREVIOUS LIFE WITH DOHA BECAUSE DOHA ERASED THEM. idk all i know is that doha has a HUGE secret and hidden agenda and he knows more than he’s letting on and if i end up being wrong then the earth is flat cuz wth
