After that event Jiwook ends in the hospital for weeks, Juyeon feels empty after leaving all those years for his revenge obssesing with Jiwook, he still visits him at the hospital to see him, Jiwook now with trauma asks Juyeon to take responsability and take care of him, Juyeon accepts so they start living together but now Jiwook has "liberty" to his phone and to go out if he wanted, which after what happend don't mean anything. Jiwook never had real friends so Juyeon becomes all his world, the person he trust the most, developing a co-dependence, making things to get Juyeon attention even harming himself, and at some point that attachment( according to him) is because he """loves him""" but never said, so yes, he forgives Juyeon after reflecting on how he lived his life so far and the things he did to others.
For Juyeon, when they start living together he treats Jiwook as a pet but later he erase the barriers after almost losing him, he treats him as human, afraid of losing Jiwook stops the violence, and sends Jiwook to therapy, Jiwook mental improves but not completly, then as Jiwook developed as a masochistic, he ask Juyeon to rough him during sex, so they go back to that and Juyeon starts to intimidate and control him from time to time.
Juyeon had the chance ( two times) to leave everything behind and move on, have a good normal life but he choose to stay with Jiwook, and Jiwook dosen't want to let go either( he's to dependent of Juyeon).
At the end Juyeon accepts that he's attached to Jiwook and might like/ love him but it was different of the feeling he had years ago, and he would never said it. Jiwook as Juyeon if he thinks they can go back as they were in the past, and Juyeon says once a relationship changes they can never go back, it'll never be same. (Juyeon remeber the good relationship he had with his mother, his father indiference, and his own innocence when he was 14 and in love, while Jiwook reference to their teens when had a good relationship and their love wasn't messed up).
