I know right. But the anticipation of having that lovey dovey scene is like a rare opportunity for us viewer in this manhua. And the slow progress of showing their affection to each other is kinda frustrating.
I mean it is frustrating, but they are a kind of muscle brains too. It wouldn't make that much sense considering their personalities and all this suspense is just going to make this kiss all more exciting.

Ok burn me for this comment but I need to say this. That fact that I’m getting annoyed at arjen? The girl or probably both of them is that she’s getting narrow minded. I get it they both got abuse, no riches in the world could pay for what happen to them but they’re only taking in the negative things and not the positive things. Like the 2nd prince Alex he did protect them with regards to his health but they did care for once then back to zero again with the negative things about them. It’s getting annoying now on how they only focus on that and not the happy things that the princes and the emperor is doing for both of them. They do realize that they’re not 5yrs old but 25years old right?
well it's easier for a reader to say because you didn't experience the things which they did. they were raised for 5 years without even seeing the people you claim care for them so much and they were all bystanders behind their abuse. it's like you'd think they would at least try to lessen it, and if you say they may have been unaware of the abuse, the least they couldve done was check. neglection is abuse. btw im not trying to argue/cause a fight, sorry if i sound harsh Σ(っ°Д °;)っ it's just you gotta think from their perspective, personally i think they are growing. and one last thing, wouldn't it be more proper or at least correct with the way they are acting and their age? cause if they just blindly accepted the first sign of love they got rather than being skeptical, they wouldve looked more like naive 5 year olds :(

Unique twist with a cool magical world to boot. Not a rip off, cool new concepts, and interesting characters to emotionally invest in. Also no annoying damsels in distress, female characters are a few of the strongest here <3

No shounen-ai and the story is nothing like Solo Leveling, but it's often recommended to people who like SL because the gate premise is similar, it taps a similar "urban fantasy" vibe, and the stories are of comparable quality. <3

Another one manga that will leave a good mark in my favourite page. I love strong woman lead especially with a background like this that I can relate. Ebony is such a gem I just hope that she will get the justice that she deserve (and all the woman in this manga particularly in that country).
