i fell down the rabbit’s hole with this reread. since the cover changed and new side story came out i didn’t realize which story this was and i was genuinely surprised when i opened the first chapter. the line from spirited away fits the case very well, “once you’ve met someone you never really forget them. it just takes a while for your memories to return.” i don’t regret staying up whole night rereading this even a little bit, it was worth every second.
i’ve read Blue Flag in 2021 and it has remained one of my favorite manga series ever since. it has one of the best and most realistic portrays of emotions, which is very important to me. I haven’t been able to cry for a long time, so i think that it’s time for a reread.
i’d stretch out my rib cage in half just so i could give my heart to the innocent series. from art style to the plot, i love every little bit of it.
i kind of saw it coming, but it was still such a let down.
it’s hilarious that i was listening to radiohead’s “let down” whilst reading the last chapter lmao.
i’m not sure why am i dissatisfied with this ending or said better-i don’t feel anything from it. is it because it was rushed or because i simply don’t have ability to tell my emotions apart and am just tired? guess we’ll never know.

existential crisis really hit after this one.
the story is getting more intriguing with each chapter. i wanted to put this off until it gets finished but i just could’t wait. it’s unbelievably good and i have high hopes about it. even though having high expectations of something isn’t a good habit because it will most likely leave you disappointed - i genuinely don’t think that will be the case here.
