ok everyone in the comments are pretty confused so here’s what i could understand :

our FL is Duroa Valrose, and she reincarnated as a villainess from a novel she read in her past life. She had a few memories from her past life, but couldnt remember everything.

She knew she was going to be burned at the stake for bullying the main character of the novel, Alice, the FL of the current world. She knew she was going to die by the duke’s hands, Noctane Edgar. To avoid that, as a child, she often visited him in his mansion.

However, as she visited him more often, he was a little asshole often due to his family trying to set him up or him being conflicted on his feelings towards Valrose. This made her have a lot of moments with him where she was very angry and started questioning their friendship.

In the first chapter, it is revealed that Noctane and Alice are getting engaged or whatever. This happened in the novel that Valrose read. However, while on the balcony Alice talks to Valrose and reveals that Noctane is a villian and is cruel.

Valrose then talks to her butler to get her a potion that can recover memories. She takes the potion and she remembers what she forgot from her previous life

In the novel it turns out that Alice had a first love who was a man named Aaron Claymore (the blonde dude). Alice met him while under a different identity because as a baby she was kidnapped and forced to live with a family that wasnt hers. They both fell in love, but both of them were in disguises so they never contacted each other. Aaron claymore gave the fake name of ‘Ed’ to alice.

When Aaron tried to find alice again, he looked for her fake name and saw that she was ‘dead’ (even tho she actually wasnt and she had just returned to her original family). Thats when Aaron had thought that his love was dead and tried to avoid being put in an arranged marriage by proposing to Valrose.

Anyways, Valrose agreed to this fake proposal because she wanted to stop the rumors that she was going to marry Edgar Noctane. Because she was ‘engaged’, Noctane started to visit Alice because he wanted to get information from her by hypnotizing her and he knew Alice and Valrose were besties.

Because Noctane would visit Alice, rumors started that they were engaged. This actually caused them to get engaged but in the recent chapter it was broken up.

Its been broken because of Alice i think (not quite sure). Alice knew that Noctane was a cruel because she has prophetic dreams that come true. She saw that at the Tea Party that Noctane invited all of them to (Alice , Aaron, Valrose), Valrose would try to cut ties with Noctane and because of this Noctane hypnotized Aaron to kill Alice and then kill himself. That is why Alice told her to not go, and then Valrose telling Aaron not to go.

After remembering the rest of the novel and then hearing what was supposed to happen at the tea party, Valrose realizes that Noctane was the real villian in the novel and that Aaron was the true ML.

Valrose then regrets ever approaching Noctane, and in one of the chapters Noctane comes to her home and gives her holy water . She’s suspicious and then Noctane drinks it, causing him to cough blood because holy water is poison to black magic users. Aaron then comes because he heard that Valrose has woken up. While he is there, Valrose is scared of Noctane but then gets courage by Aaron being there because they are good friends now. She tells Noctane she wants to cut ties with him and shades the hellll out him and Noctane is kinda sad but then leaves .

Alice is surprised by this because its similar to the Tea Party Disaster and then explains her dream. She then gives a necklace to Valrose that protects from Black Magic kinda. Then Valrose and Aaron head to the party where they are now.

WHEW!!! this took me like 20 mins to write, my fingers hurt from my heavy ass phone :’) i might have gotten a few things wrong, sorry <3

heyy i want to read this but so far its really dancing around the past for no reason, can someone summarize why she destroyed the field and stuff ? im kind of impatient sorry lol

fuck kozue shes a terrible person. she verbally abuses takumi, uses him, visits whenever SHE wants, but then basically cheats on him with her ex even tho SHE was cheated on by HIM???? makes no fucking sense, i dint give a shit if its cute and shes a tsundere, that kinda behavior is so childish I HAVE SO MANY ISSUES WITH THIS BITCH!!!! i could go on and on lmfao

whats the plot lol? i know this is a romance but she’s already made some development with the ML and they are LITERALLY MARRIED !!??!? this is more slice of life from what i can see.
