Bruh remember when the ml woke up and saw the red head in person. The fact that he keeps getting his memories is proof too. The ml is dead, he got no body to get back to. But the red head has his body and it seems his soul is alive as well. That’s my understanding
Oh you mean that's your own interpretation. I thought that it was mentioned somewhere for a sec. I don't think he's still alive. A lot of "trasmigrated" characters start having original body owner memory flashbacks, it's a way to get the plot moving.

Because he is NOT normal. According to the novel he is diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder- there is no cure for that. Anyone waiting for a character development is wasting their time in vain. After having read the novel, he does not get better. He adjusts his behavior to some extent to accommodate Inceop, but he still stays consistent with violence and sociopathic behavior.
