This was the chapter I needed like 5 chapters ago!!! Could I have lived without it? Yes, but better this than those random short plots that didn’t really add anything to the overall story! This hopefully gives some closure about his parental trauma cuz that’s a constructive side storyline!!

Ok I can see where some of y’all are coming from cuz it’s common sense, like I’m pretty sure that hospital section had us all felling some type of way! But there doesn’t have to be a reciprocal arc or anything cuz that’s not how the world works! And the seme didn’t forgive the uke “too easily” he forgave him because he loved him and although he was in a difficult position emotionally, he understood that the uke was too! Like if something had actually happened to the friend y’all would be singing a different tune! You can’t forget that he was torn between his love and his only friend with suicidal ideation! That’s not easy! Yeah the friend turned out fine but we find that out after the fact. I was just reading some of those comments and wondering how y’all would feel in that situation, hoping that whoever you end up choosing over the other has enough love for you to forgive you without you having to go through another emotional trial (cuz that’s how forgiveness works)! And to be clear I’m not talking about situations in which there is malicious intent or neglect! Y’all really read the situation from the outside and still had the nerve to act like the uke was living his best life trying to make the man he lost sleep over jealous of his only friend rehabilitating in the hospital?!.....cmon now!....like am I trippin?
