A little bit but there’s more fighting than romance and it’s actually not bad, she is important to the plot and the main character grows from the experience he has with her and the others. Honestly I though I was gonna hate it bc I don’t care for romance but the was an exception.

tbh i was really frustrated when Uke apologized to that bitch like he doesn't owe her an apology lol. Right from the start Her attitude was so shit i felt like wanting to slap her personally, She's pushy asf, insensitive and doesn't know when to back off. spreading rumors that can potentially ruin someone amd cause deep wounds that he might bear as long as he lives yet no sorry from her, that's my only issue. Overall, story is generic but cute and fluffly.

I was able to ignore it and go through this because this manga is an absolute masterpiece
For me it doesn't matter since Sae also help Kai in his difficult days. He had Sae when he has nothing and still the same when he has everything. And their relationship is not toxic, they help each other to realize their own worth and boost confidence.
