Imo, as others are saying more reassurance or talking it out will be better, i feel like there wasn't a need. Though, one thing candy was wondering: how did jin woo even suddenly lost interest and fade away like that? I'm wondering it too. Tiredness? Stress? Boredom? I guess it's because we weren't shown how much work/pressure Jinwoo has. Though personally I can kinda relate to him; getting burnt out from work (well, I'm a student, so not really work), just... makes everything tiring, even having a simple conversation with anyone is draining my already drained energy and I just want to take a rest. I suppose that's what happened with Jinwoo.
(Then again I have worsening anxiety so that adds extra to my burnout)
